Nominate a Caregiver
Submit a short story about someone who provides care.
Quiz
Answer one simple question about Dez & caregiving.
Caregiver Approval
Your nominee must approve participation.
Public Voting
Every two weeks, approved nominations go live for public votes to choose that cycle’s Caregiver Hero. This is your chance to rally the votes. If your caregiver wins that cycle, you get merch! Winners of each cycle go on to the Bonus Finale.
Year-End Hero
At the end of the year, one caregiver receives the Caregiver Hero award and USD $2,000 recognition prize.
Recognition
Nominate & Win
- Gather as many votes as possible for your nominated Caregiver in each cycle. Contact your family, friends and friendlies, even the neighbourhood butcher! If you have to
- Every two weeks, the public votes to choose that cycle’s Caregiver Hero.
- The nominated Caregiver with the most votes is declared the winner. We go loud & proud with our announcement here and on our socials.
- Each Caregiver Hero of the cycle wins prizes worth USD $500. We, at Dez, will contact them via email to coordinate the delivery.
- If your entry wins the biweekly Caregiver Hero, you will receive merch from us worth USD $100.
- At the end of the year, one caregiver is recognised as the Caregiver Hero of 2026.
